Barbie was 27 months of age when this photo was taken. There is another photo of Barbie on our wirehaired Dachshund page and below that was taken when Barbie was 143 months of age....still lovely at almost 12 years old!!

We got CH "Bo" as an adult from Ellen Bourgeois and Mary Karat when they stopped breeding and showing miniature Dachshunds.
CH ELENBUSCH RAINBOW'S END MW was born June 4, 1976 and we had him until he was 18 years of age. Bo's sire was CH MAY'S HAP-PEA TORPEDO MW and Bo's dam was CH ELENBUSCH HOLLY GOLIGHTLY MW.

This photo of CH "BUZZ" shows a handsome miniature wirehaired Champion... But you need to look under all the hair to see the dog!
This picture was taken just before Bill pulled his coat and began the process of getting Buzz ready to be shown as a Special. It takes about 60 days for a wirehaired Dachshund to go from this shaggy look to the sleek perfectly groomed dog you see in the showing.
Here, Buzz is pictured at about one year of age. Buzz is a wild boar miniature wirehaired Dachshund.

Owner Brad Austin found a “pupkin” peeking out at him from his “Hallo-wiener pupkin” pile... His little wire girl, Chica.
This NUFOREST youngster shows a perfect miniature Dachshund foot and a wonderful harsh tight red wire coat. The dog attached to the feet and wearing the hair is called Chicha and is she is now owned & photographed by Brad Austin.

This lovely red mini wire girl was sold as a puppy to Mr. Masuko Mituri in Japan. It wasn't long before we heard that she was doing well in the shows and quickly earned her Japanese Championship. In 2002 and 2003 JAPAN CH NUFOREST ROYAL MAGIC MW was the Number One Top Winning Miniature Wirehaired female in that country. Lemmie was brought back to the USA to earn her AKC Championship. Peter Green showed her quickly to her AKC title. Wonder what's next for this international star?

CH SHOOTER finished his AKC Championship on the second day of a family vacation.
Our daughter, Jennifer Groves and two of our grandkids, Casey & Hollie, traveled thru central California and the Sierras with us in between dog show weekends. Jen's husband had to work so he missed out on Yosemite, Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks.
The kids, Shooter and all the other doxies that we had with us were all good travelers and it was a delightful trip. Shooter is pictured with Ric Plaut, PHA (our handler) and the judge that awarded him his last major win, Mrs. T. F. Powers. The show was Kern County Kennel Club on April 3, 2005.

CH Mister is a red brindled longhair. He is pictured taking his last Major Win and finishing his AKC Championship at Silver State Kennel Club, April 10, 2005.
The judge is Mrs. Judy Doniere. Ric Plaut, PHA (Professional Handlers Association) showed Mister for us. Mister's sire is our cream brindle boy, Tiger Legacy who came to us from England.
